    Dreaming Billabong
Series of Stand alone Introductory Novella and Novels
    by Ryn Shell
    for Release from  2013

‘The lagoon, known as Dreaming Billabong,  formed when Massacre Creek changed course. It reflects every colour of the Rainbow Serpent that rests in its depth.
When the serpent sleeps, silver ghostly plumes of mist rise from the still waters and even life-hardened swagmen swear they hear the ghost.

    Billabong Ghost.
Novella, the introduction to the Dreaming Billabong series of stand alone novels by Australian Author Ryn Shell

    Dreaming Billabong
is the title for the series of novels that tells a crime genre story with an Australian historical background of a small town in inland north-eastern Australia through the experiences of children.  It is also a beautiful coming of age story of the children and while not a romance story it does contain a  sweetly sensual romance within the larger story.

    Billabong
    is a waterhoLE
specifically a waterhole that forms at the bend in a river. The word ‘billabong’ is thought to have originated from the Wiradjuri term ‘bilabaŋ’. Wiradjuri is the traditional language of the Wiradhuri people of New South Wales.
